Vancouver Vintage Music aims to be a simple, one-stop vintage music calendar for shows in Vancouver BC and the surrounding area.

 

What is "vintage" music? Music with a cultural history behind it, and/or music with an  element of community participation, like jamming or dancing. Right now the main genres are Anglo fiddle-based traditions and their North-American offshoots. Indigenous, non-Anglo North-American, and World traditions are welcome if people feel like posting them!

Generally, this is not a space for singer-songwriters, indie-folk, or contemporary jazz - unless there is a strong and clear connection to traditional music.
